I never tire of these beautiful little critters. My latest project is see which ones live in moss. Clumps of moss are like islands - each is its own little ecosystem.

Thanks Ashley ... I thought so! Locally, any tortoise larger than the palm of your hand is called a Snapping Turtle. It's nice to know that, for once, I was correct.

Shroom ... They are indeed cool. As for the rulers, I add them using Photoshop Elements. It's easy once you figure out the proper scale.
