I think its a jumping spider. They come in many variations.
Common name - Oleander Hawkmoth. Scientific name - Daphnis Nerii
Thanks for the ID NuwanChathuranga... :)
Hey Emma, still can't beleive the fact that my picture was the first ever photo of this flower. Thanks for the wishes. Without the help of the community here I would have never known what flower it was for real. I was strongly under the impression of this being some sort of an orchid. So a big deserving thanks goes to the community of enthusiasts and professional here too who helped ID this plant.
Hi Yasser,
Thanks for your comments. This is the only picture I took of this flower when travelling thru Sikkim a couple of years back, probably because I didn't quite spot another one as pretty.
Thanks Nuwan, however I'm not exactly sure if it is indeed 'Graphium agamemnon' because the tail was apart and not joined forming a V as seen for this species.
Hi craigwilliams, thanks for helping ID this flower. Although you are right about this being some variety of Impatiens, I've not been able to confirm if this is indeed Pradhanii since there seems to be any images to verify with.
Hey Laura, I've got a fe more pictures of moths and butterflies under my spottings. You are welcome to go through and ID if you recognize any of them :). Thanks in advance.
