A worldwide community photographing and learning about wildlife
Thanks all for the accolades. It is a very inspiring acknowledgement for me personally and reason to keep contributing. I just hope I can manage to get composition, light and luck for each spotting.
Yes, I was squealing with delight. Many a photo was taken. I was outside and heard a lot of rustling, thinking it was a roo, I pulled out a flashlight to find these two males competing for the affection of the smaller female. At that time of year, a line of suitors will follow a lady anywhere. Although this is the first time I saw them clustered, people I was working with had numerous accounts of up to 6 in tow.
Thanks for the advice Ava but as an armature photographer with no science background, I have o idea what is involved in making a reference.
thanks for the acknowledgement. I'll go outside and let them know they made the spotting of the day (I'm lucky enough to have them in my back yard)
Unfortunately we were only there for a week. Still, i do want to live there one day.
They are regulars there but you do have to wait. Must be enroute to Warnambool I suspect.
thanks compared to the cockatoos, it was quite small.
every day is a school day - thanks
thanks but isn't it a marsupial?
