Speaking of Turtles, you might get a kick out of what happened at my old College graduation ceremony last weekend.

I will take your word for it and assume David was correct in the first place. It did come out of a vacant lot in our subdivision that is wet all the time.

This little guy was larger than most descriptions of Mud Turtles. I would list him at 6-8" in length with head out.
