Description:

Wingspan up to 2". This species has been spotted in a garden area adjacent to the Mojave Desert. It is at times confused with the Painted Lady. The Painted Lady is distinguished from the West Coast Lady by an orange spot on the leading edge of the forewing of the Painted.

Habitat:

Gardens and desert areas of the Mojave.
