Description:

Funny but sad, these 8 turkeys are covered with burdock (1 male). Very large size; tail long, with black band near tip; male glossy brown and red wattles with a tassel under the neck; female smaller and duller and red wattles.

Habitat:

Oak and mesquite brush, deciduous woodlands, wooded bottom lands.

Notes:

First time we have seen them this winter. Usually we see them all winter.
