Description:

I found this pretty big moth (or butterfly) while i was still in Qatar. It dint move or fly much . i jus left it in my garden (after a long tym keeping it inside a jar) and after sometym it vanished

Habitat:

Dry and arid place

Notes:

This species is found in Africa, Southern Europe and Central and East Asia and Poland.

Beautiful Spotting Mohammad, though they look very similar this seems to be a Hyles livornica since Hyles lineata in not found in your region. Please Verify though :)

but im wondering how this moth native to north america ended up in Qatar in the middle-east
