Yellow-rumped Warbler

Setophaga coronata coronata

Description:

Myrtle sbuspecies, this is a female

Habitat:

temperate forest, meadow

Notes:

I spotted this bird at Fireman's Park. I was just walking along a trail and this bird was about 5m (15') away. I stopped and used my telephoto lens to take some photos of it, when it started hopping towards me! It came to within about 1m (3') of me and that's when I took these shots, though I did crop them a little.
