Oecophorine Moth

Leptocroca sanguinolenta

Description:

An oecophorid moth with pale pinkish white wings with a jagged black pattern from wing base to the trailing margin. Wing span was about 20 mm. Labial palps were re-curved.

Habitat:

Spotted under bright lights in a suburban garden.

Notes:

Larvae of these moths feed on dead gum leaves.
