A very small grey beetle 3mm long; some pattern on back with a single central dark spot; very robust legs (like hopper?); all matte.

Habitat:

New eucalyptus stems in suburban park near eucalyptus forest.

Without seeing its nose well, this profile and black dot look like a true weevil. This is the biggest family (Curculionidae) in the coleoptera order so will be of limit use on your ID journey,
