Tri-colored Heron

Egretta tri-color

Description:

My color can differ considerably depending on how I stand in the sun. My last pose is most normal. You can see why I am called Tri-colored.

Habitat:

Ponds, swamps and other areas that I can catch fish. I like to build my nests in the dark junglelike growth of Mangrove and willow clumps
