Description:

Found in Europe and Pacific Northeast of North America. Grows on fallen wood among mosses and leaf litter. Apears in late winter and spring. Not edible, though there are reports that some cultures use them for food.

Habitat:

Forest, grows on dead hardwood among mosses and leaf litter

Notes:

The first fungus to appear in Lithuania
