Cooper's Hawk

Description:

~18" long.

Notes:

Sitting about 20' up in a tree. Stared at Sibley and Stokes. Decided this was a Sharp-shinned hawk based on shape of head and placement of eye. But would be happy to have someone more familiar with hawks confirm or correct... UPDATE - switched species to Cooper's Hawk with Liam's help.

Pale nape, round tail, and thick legs make it a Cooper's over Sharpie.
