I recognize this as a Mediterranean house gecko. They are an invasive (non-native) species here in Texas where I live. I used to have them in my garage and all over my house when I lived in Denton... they thrive until they've decimated the insect population, then they start to die off because there's nothing left to eat. Out of the blue, I started seeing them in my garage, in a few years, I had hundreds in there. I haven't seen any in a couple of years now. They're very prolific.
