Jelly Fungus

Calocera cornea

Description:

It was about 1 cm in height and growing for about 8 cm along a crack in the wood. Tips are slightly rounded to sharply pointed.

Habitat:

This jelly fungus was found it in October growing on a dead hardwood log after a couple of drizzly days in a gorge below a waterfall--a pretty moist environment.
