This is the only treehopper species in the eastern US with a forward pointing horn. About .7 cm in length.
I found this individual, along with others, in a tallgrass prairie. They were feeding on this plant, which, unfortunately, I didn't taken the time to identify.
Just got the ID on this while searching for an ID on another spotting and have updated the information on this page.
