Viv,that is exactly what I found. There was milky liquid in there. Now i just need somebody to eat it first.

If I remember rightly, when you break a leaf it has a milky liquid inside. : ) Could try that first

Unless somebody who has eaten it offers it to me. DO not feel very brave otherwise. Would like to try it though!

Have you tried a leaf. It is edible .............. bitter but edible : ( Not my 'cuppa tea'
