Poecile gambeli
Similar to the Black-capped chickadee but with some obvious differences. This small songbird prefers to range in mountainous areas of western North America. It has distinctive black and white patterns on its head and neck.
Spotted foraging on a gravel road and underbrush in the Inyo National Forest.
