American White Pelican

Pelecanus erythrorhynchos

Description:

One of the largest birds in North America. That bump/horn on its bill signifies this is a breeding adult.

Notes:

Apparently the American White Pelican comes inland to breed, however, on this day, this was the only one to be found on the lake.
