Description:

Straggly, trailing perennial, often found growing through other vegetation. Stems reddish and leaves narrow and borne in tufts at stem nodes. Flowers pinkish-purple, 5-petalled and 10mm across, March-June.

Habitat:

Salt-laden soils, widespread.
