A beautiful Great Horned Owl fledgeling and parents
The protected courtyard of the Oracle Business Offices, where the maintenance crew put up an owl nest box a few years ago to encourage them to come back (and keep the pigeon population in check).
This Great Horned Owl fledgeling was under a tree when I took its photo with my cell phone camera. The next day I came back with my SLR camera and found one of the fledgelings on the side of the building with the parents nearby.

Awesome! Love these pics! I wonder if this is the same pair of owls that live and nest off of westmoor dr or if they are a different nesting pair! Either way, very cool spotting! Have you seen them recently?
