Common Green Lacewing

Chrysoperla carnea

Description:

A little trio of common green lacewings surrounding my porch light. I love seeing these guys around because it means my garden is safe. Adults eat pollen and such but their larva are predatory to many pest insects. In the bottom left you can see a grape leafholder, a cute little moth I see everywhere.

Habitat:

Found throughout North America.
