Photo take in a jungle expedition deep in the jungle find a Cenote or sinkhole whit fresh water in it, which has more than one wasp nest, this wasps are very aggressive are all black color and yellow stripes around the abdomen, very common to find this incredible rounded nest near water. about 30 cm long.

That's a paper wasp nest. The different colors of the nest come from the different woods used to make the paper. An insect zoo I once worked for demonstrated this by giving some paper wasps different colors of paper, and the nest they made from the paper had rainbow stripes. The wasps belong to the genus Polistes, but I don't know any of the Mexican species.
