Dendrelaphis punctulata
This blue variation of the common tree snake was found chasing and eating a jv. water dragon.
Wide variety of habitats in eastern and northern Australia
Grandiosa escena
doesn't help that it was in a tiny opening in the base of a tree that I had to stick my head into to get the shot
Wow, well spotted. (I reckon I'd freak if I saw a snake eating a baby dragon like that!)
Great capture!
