Description:

Very common flower which blooms from spring until autumn. Leaves lobed and often toothed, therefore it is called "Lion's tooth" in german. With milky sap. Characteristic are the fruits with their little white parachutes.

Habitat:

In lawns, on roadsides and many other places. Likes moist, nutritious soil.

Notes:

Also known as Blowball, german: Pusteblume, because children like to blow at the fruits and see the parachutes fly through the air.
