Lepidoptera, family Pieridae. This butterfly was found in Creta, Greece during the spring. When the wings are opened, black marks are visible in the upper area of the forewing.

Habitat:

This butterfly was seen in an urban environment, near the ruins of the ancient city of Knossos in Creta.
