Diptera, family Syrphidae, I beleve it is a Hovefly, maybe Milesia crabroniformis, but I would like to confirm it with some specialist in European Diptera.
It was pictured in Creta, Greece. In the entrance of the ancient ruins of Knosos.
I would like to identify this fly.
