Found on my office floor by the cleaning crew.
Surrounding habitat is deciduous forest, agriculture, and grassy fields
Co-worker ID'd it as a garter snake, but I don't think the patterns match. I am no reptile expert though.

Looks like a juvenile, but no expert myself either. Beautiful though :)
I think it’s a Brown Snake from the black stripes near the ears, I’m thinking the Texas Brown subspecies, one of 3 found in Michigan.
