Alliaria petiolata
Mostly smooth, erect sparsely branched biennial up to 3 ft. tall. Leaves alternate, mostly triangular and coarsely toothed. Leaves have garlic odor and are edible. Flowers are white with 4 petals to 0.25 in. long and produced in clusters in spring and summer.
Introduced from Europe. Found in woodlands and gardens throughout most of eastern USA.
