Abigail, you have seen all my lady beetle spottings for the last six months. I have seen a couple of "red" lady beetles but the majority are the Ash-gray.

It is in subfamily Coccinellinae, tribe Coccinellini. I am not an expert on Central American larvae, so I'm not sure of the genus or species.
