This is the latest update of the ten chicks i was following. As you can see only one is remaining. The family of three is very close knit.

These are mallard chicks. Mom was limping a little. Hope she gets better. Both parents were involved with the chicks and it was fun seeing them get in and out of the water.
There was also a chubby and cute red shouldered hawk sitting on a nearby tree ,looking very content.
