Description:

Flower with a blue disk and white trumpet ray flowers shooting out the sides. The flower grows out of a cup of bracts that resemble scales and have dark on the edges. The leaves are soft and fuzzy.

Habitat:

This plant is not native and most of this genus are considered invasive in California.

Notes:

Aka starthistle and centaureas

I think it is too. Too bad this genus is so invasive in Cali.
