Dolomedes tenebrosus
These are large spiders with a leg span up to 90mm (3.5 in). Brown with mottling. Tan bands on legs. Brown chevrons bordered with black on upper side of abdomen.
Usually found relatively close to water, where they sometimes hunt aquatic insects.
