The host plant may be your best clue to unravel its ID. Do you recall what the plant is?
Thanks martin ,i will update the id accordingly .
These are leaf beetles. (This seems to be my answer for everything.)
They look like scarabidae (chafer beetles) but the antennae are long.
I cannot find a match.
