Red Crab


The actual color is a true blood red. This crab is very tiny. Probably just an inch.


I found this crab along with the other species of crab in a muddy creek that used to be a pond. That area is saltwater. All signs of marine life from the mangroves down to the tiny fishes will soon be gone. The area will soon be reclaimed for the expansion of the subdivision where I'm currently residing.
