Description:

Roughly hairy biennial. Leaves are narrow and pointed; basal leaves stalked. Flowers funnel-shaped, bright blue and 15-20mm long; in dense spikes, April-July.

Habitat:

Dry, often calcareous soils. Widespread; absent Balearics and Cyprus.
