Spottless Lady Beetle (laying eggs)

Cycloneda sanguinea

Habitat:

fields, shrubs, gardens

Notes:

Here, I spotted a Lady Beetle laying her eggs on an plant that was full of aphids thus insuring a ready supply of prey for her larvae. You can see a large winged aphid next to her. The second pic shows how the plant was crawling with aphids. (Not sure on aphid species.)
