Emma, that's so funny that you've been brought baby rabbits. When I was teaching on the South Side, a group of 2nd graders went out for gym and some of them found a nest of bunnies. Not knowing what else to do and knowing that I liked animals, they brought all five of them up to my 4th grade classroom and gave them to me. I had them tell me where they found them and then after school I returned them to their nest. Oy. :)

I remember when I lived in Chicago ,when the kids brought in 3 infants. it was during the time OJ Simpson had killed his wife.Kids said that they had found the mother of these bunnies dead.
I had to take care of them for 2 months. Had to use my intuition.Fed them milk with a dropper and then carrots and lettuce.
One of the kids released them back. i hope they made it back into nature. i did see one of them who had a deformed leg often.did not see the others.
