Second picture is of one of the leaves these caterpillars were in. Part of the leaf is folded over with silk holding it together. One that was in one came out for a bit to eat and then went back in.
ID could very well be incorrect. There were several different skippers that seemed to come close as well. If you have a different ID please let me know. Thanks!
