Endotricha ignealis

Description:

Usually, the wings of the adult of this species are brown, suffusing to crimson at the margins, although the species is quite variable The moth has a wingspan of about 2 cms.

Habitat:

Attracted to the lights on the back deck of a night.

Notes:

The species is fairly widespread in Australia Not sure if this is Endotricha ignealis or a Endotricha sp. according to insects of Tasmania .
