Lynx Spider

Oxyopes sp.

Oxyopidae; Oxyopes sp. "Oxyopes is a genus of lynx spiders found worldwide. It includes around 300 species and is classified under the lynx spider family Oxyopidae. Like other lynx spiders, they are easily recognizable by the six larger eyes arranged hexagonally on top of the head (prosoma), with the remaining smaller two eyes in front." Wikipedia

Spotted in a dense patch of foliage at the end of a road leading to a farmhouse, surrounded by several rice fields. There were many Lynx Spiders hunting there, but almost all of them were O. javanus. The prey was mostly Crambid Moths.
