Description:

This boraginaceous plant is characterized by whitish leaves and stems which gives it a gray tint to the plant. It is also distinctive for its reddish flowers. The fruits consist of four parts covered with small spines. The leaves are long and almost linear. It blooms in spring.

Habitat:

Present in the Mediterranean side of Spain. It lies in barren fields and uncultivated fields and rural roadsides.
