Hi there, this is not a thick-billed murre. First off, the bill is entirely too thin. As the name states, thick-billed murres have a very thick bill. Second, thick billed murres have a clear delineation between the white and black on their sides. This is a common murre that is transitioning into non-breeding plumage, which is why it still has so much black on its face.
