Description:

Coleoptera, white elitra with black spots and a humpback in the middle of the body, antennae with a club in the end, about 1,5 cm long.

Habitat:

In the wall of a house, rural setting and lot of grassland in the surroundings.

Might actually be a Cypherotylus costaricensis. Look at #7 in the link page of the old volume Biologia Centrali Americana:
http://www.sil.si.edu/digitalcollections...
This means that this little guy might also have another name in the meanwhile. I only know Gibbifer sp. from the north. About Erotylidae and most probably Erotylinae I am pretty sure.
