Description:

Stout, erect to reclining stems 1-2 feet tall. Tough and somewhat leathery, broadly ovate leaves. Flower is generally terminal, with pale green flowers in a rounded head. Perennial.

Habitat:

Full sun in grassy area alongside a road.

Notes:

Larval food plant of Monarch butterfly.
