A small bright green viper with thin white bands. Large head for such a small snake.

Habitat:

trees, jungle

Notes:

LA Zoo Bites are painful, but not deadly. People in Southeast Asia take these snakes and put them in trees near Buddhist and Hindu temples, hence the name.
