Larus occidentalis/Larus heermannii
The Heermann's Gull was a lifer for me! Many thanks to Liam for verifying my individual identifications in photo two via personal communication.
Thanks Liam!!
I'm seeing mostly Western Gulls (Larus occidentalis), but some of the dark ones are Heermann's Gulls (Larus heermannii).
Thanks ChristyHolland!! I believe you are correct about the dark ones being the juveniles; that seems to make sense!! Thanks again!
Nice! I don't know which gull, but I believe the dark ones are juveniles...??? Not sure! Neat photo!
