Description:

Wings above velvety purplish brown, broadly edged with dirty yellow beyond a black band enclosing separate blue spots. Wings below dark brownish grey with pale grey flecking resembling weathered wood.

Habitat:

Sighted feeding on rotting fruit. Feeder is in shade near wooded area.
