A worldwide community photographing and learning about wildlife
Tursiops truncatus
A bottlenose dolphin breaching in the lagoon of Turneffe Atoll. This active individual was socializing with a big group when it began to breach repetitively at the surface; coming out on its right and slapping its side against the water with a big splash.
Shallow water (6ft) with a seabed of turtle and manatee seagrass.

Beautiful!
Awesome spotting! It's a great day at the beach or on the water when you can see wildlife like this.
