Thanks so much Bayucca for this ID. The poor little critter has been nameless far too long. The colors look right, down to the tiny white dots. EOL shows sightings on both sides of where I found it and iNaturalist puts it in Ecuador. I think you nailed it. Thanks again. I haven't been very active lately being a little frustrated with the search function not working. It kind of defeats the purpose of amassing a huge database if it can't be searched. I have no way to even search my own pictures, let alone those on the PN database. Hopefully it will function again someday. I'm really glad you caught this. I need to get back into it. Thanks again.

Hey Sheila. I gather you aren't exactly a spider fan 😊 I did a quick check of Colorado spiders and didn't see anything that looks like the one here. I have no idea what it was.

I live in Northglenn Colorado and this spider was in my house. I had never seen it before but I know that it wasn't a black widow, it wasn't a woodlouse, and it had the same exact markings as this spider, but what would it be doing in Northglenn Colorado, in my bed?
I freaked out, try to smash it, but it got away so I drenched everything in Ortho Home Defense! Ugh. If I locate it, I will pay a picture!

Hi Bobbit. Thanks for commenting. I thought it was uniquely colored enough someone would be able to give me a clue. I've found nothing even similar. While I'm not a huge fan of spiders like I am snakes, they don't really bother me. Only the Brazilian Wandering Spider am I pretty careful with :-)

I just spotted this same spider on my front porch. I also noticed on the underside of it's abdomen a white elongated spot. Very interested in what it is. I was shocked to see it on your hand though in the photos. :0
